Where design evolves (Salone del mobile 2024)

This spring, our id team embarked on an exciting journey to the capital of fashion in the world for the world’s largest furniture fair, with the captivating theme of “Where design evolves.” From the bustling Fiera Milano to the enchanting city center of Milan, our team immersed themselves in all that the furniture world had to offer. As we explored the sights, sounds, and innovations of the salon del mobile, we were invigorated, inspired, and fueled with fresh ideas to bring back to our id friends and family back in Ljubljana.

During our time in Milan, we had the pleasure of visiting some of our partner brands and discovering some remarkable highlights to share with you. Below are a few key takeaways from the brands we encountered at the fair:

bulthaup... there is no kitchen…

In a mesmerizing presentation, bulthaup showcased a new system under the theme “There is no kitchen.” The innovative built-in and modular kitchen elements, tools, and accessories presented a fresh perspective on creating a space where individuals feel “at home.” The new system, based on the “94 line,” prioritizes the human perspective, turning a room into a meaningful place through interactive design elements.

Molteni...an italian design story…

The Molteni indoor collection captivated us with its sophisticated design inspired by Milanese architectural brilliance. From elegant dining areas featuring pieces by Vincent Van Duysen to the exquisitely curated ‘An Italian Design Story’ room commemorating the brand’s 90th anniversary, the collection marked a new chapter in the brand’s storied history.

COR… an inhabited place

At the fair, COR unveiled SIWA, a stunning new sofa that embodies the concept of an oasis, an inhabited place where one can meet, interact, and relax. With its nature-inspired design and harmonious curves, SIWA promises a warm embrace and adds an element of elegance to any space.

Moroso… endless living room

Moroso made a lasting impression at Milan Design Week by perfecting its Flagship Store on Via Pontaccio to reflect its values and identity. From the captivating window display of the new One Page armchair by Ron Arad to the immersive exploration of the brand’s iconic pieces, Moroso showcased its commitment to iconic design and innovative proposals.

These are just some of the highlights from our incredible journey, and we can’t wait to share more with you in the coming months. So stay tuned as we introduce you to the latest novelties from all our brands and uncover new and exciting collaborations that will continue to push the boundaries of design. Stay curious and join us on this thrilling adventure into the world of design.
