To mark its introduction, the new CH24P is available at a special introductory price – approximately 30% below the standard retail price that will take effect from 1 January 2027. Starting from €745.

This is not a conventional seasonal discount, but a limited introductory opportunity connected to the launch of a new interpretation of one of the most recognizable icons of Danish design.

An icon, reinterpreted

Some designs become icons because they never lose their relevance – instead, they continue to reaffirm it over time. The CH24 Wishbone Chair is one of them.

Designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1949 and in continuous production since 1950, its sculptural wooden frame, curved backrest and distinctive Y-shaped support have become one of the most recognizable expressions of Danish design.

With CH24P, Wegner’s unmistakable silhouette remains unchanged, while the traditional woven seat is replaced by a soft, upholstered leather seat.

A small change creates a noticeably different experience – greater softness and comfort with a more refined expression, without losing the character of the original CH24.

Natural wood, leather and craftsmanship remain at its heart. CH24P is available in carefully selected combinations of woods, finishes and leathers, allowing for different interpretations of Wegner’s icon – from light and natural expressions to deeper, more distinctive combinations.

CH24P does not attempt to reinvent the Wishbone Chair. It preserves what made CH24 an icon while changing the part we experience most directly.
