Entirely handmade and flame-worked, the vase is shaped from fine borosilicate glass, a material renowned for its purity and resistance. The artisan’s hand traces each groove with precision, preserving the texture and harmony of the form. The result is a refined object that embodies Ichendorf’s mastery of traditional techniques reinterpreted through a modern sensibility.
Available in an extraordinary range of tones and sizes: from green-pink to violet-smoke, from amber-clear to blue-violet; each version tells a different story of contrast and transparency. The interplay of hues enhances the glass’s depth and the soft geometry of its silhouette, turning every arrangement into a scene of subtle sophistication. Offered in several heights, from 27 to 37 cm, the Bamboo Groove vase adapts elegantly to any space.

The extremely fine wool of Sophia comes from Merino sheep. A special breed that is raised mainly in South America, South Africa and also in some countries in Europe. The animals are sheared by hand only once a year, in spring. Merino wool is light and elastic.
