The faces of the object create its form: large and open with undefined edges and with a fascinating play of reflections that are reminiscent of objects handmade in precious metals. The texture evokes the backgrounds of the digital world and reinterprets steel by playing on the elusiveness of the design, which makes the object look like something smooth and natural even if it crystallised into a solid matter.

Since the founding of the brand, in 1921, most products have been made by cold metalworking, a tradition that has been preserved to this day by Italian artisans. The mission of the Alessi brand has always been and will be to translate its search for the most avant-garde design into mass production. Their products are the result of a constant reconciliation between art and industry, between the greatness of creative potential and the desires of the market. Alessi likes to present itself as a “dream factory” that uses their products to materialize people’s dreams and feed them with art and poetics.
